The film is jointly produced by Gautham Menon and J. Thanga Meengal is director Ram’s follow up to his acclaimed Kattradu Tamizh. The film features Ram in the lead along with child artiste Sadhana. The director teams up with Yuvan Shankar Raja. Aanandha Yaazhai from Thanga meengal is a beautiful song with wonderful lyrics. Gautham Menon’s upcoming production venture, Thanga Meengal greeted everyone recently as its poignant trailer showcasing the special bond a father and daughter, promised a masterpiece in the making.
His second after the critically acclaimed 2007 debut Kattradhu Thamizh, Thanga Meengal is penned and directed by Ram, who himself will play the lead role as Shelly Kishore, Sadhana, Rohini and Padmapriya support him in supporting roles.
“Modeled around small town characters it promises to be an emotional entertainer that brings forth a brilliant minds creation” exclaimed Gautham Menon on director Ram’s effort .
The songs from the same were expected since long, as composer Yuvan Shankar Raja roped in as a featured composer on this one. In fact, Sony Music has already bagged its rights and four songs from the banner’s forthcoming album were unleashed recently.
